Connecticut was home and the coastal areas were my favorite. I loved to swim, sail, and scuba dive. I earned a degree in Art Ed. and enjoyed teaching. My knowledge was later applied to real estate with my understanding of color, composition, and photography. Showcasing properties was my competitive edge that benefited my clients with buyer action and top sales prices.
I held many sales and marketing positions, including both the sales and operations of shared office centers in Stamford, Greenwich, and White Plains, NY. New corporations/ satellite offices such as those for Apple/Macintosh, REITS, consulting firms, and other executives were my clients. I later returned to college and earned a degree in nursing, which required time management, high standards of practice, and sharp communication skills.
I moved to Naples in 2001 and have enjoyed continuing in the service profession as a REALTOR with a unique platform of experience for those seeking or selling New construction homes, resale properties, and raw land.

Mary helped my family and I find and purchase the perfect home in Fort Myers FL. The home and community are everything we wanted. She listened carefully as we spoke long distance over many months and when we finally made it to Florida she had us lined up with great homes. It was easy and painless. She also went the extra mile after we bought our home. She helped us navigate the school system and even hand delivered personal papers that had to submitted. Her knowledge of new builds was priceless and she made sure we were protected and fully represented as we worked with a large builder. Mary was a professional but also a friend. Mary Horesco is a true professional who did not leave a stone un -turned. Her attention to detail and what we were looking for in our retirement home, were a priority for her. Since we were 1200 miles away, in New Jersey, we had to depend on Mary to see that things moved smoothly with the ongoing process of building our new home. She kept us in the loop every step of the way. Not only is Mary knowledgeable about real estate, she also demonstrated a wealth of knowledge about construction. She had shown us quite a few resales (as that what was our original intention), and then we came to The Place at Corkscrew. Mary was extremely prompt in returning all of our calls and emails. She provided us with a very reputable home inspector prior to our walk through, as well as an insurance agency here in our new area. Mary was present at our closing and thoroughly explained details presented by our closing agent. Buying a home is stressful, especially in another state, and for technically buying a new life style. Mary was on point in helping to make it a more positive experience. We are very appreciative to have had Mary as our realtor, and do highly recommend her.

We were very new to the area and Mary Horesco was so helpful in providing knowledge of the area, developments, spent a lot of time with us without interfering with any decisions. My husband and I found Mary after a previous attempt at purchasing a home in the SW Florida area went very badly. We were confused and felt that we were not being represented by the sales person at the model homes. They represent the builder. After that experience, we realized we needed to have someone working for us.From the start, we knew Mary was on our side and looking out for our best interests. She is extremely knowledgeable in new home construction and real estate procedures. She has many contacts that were also a wealth of knowledge from title companies/attorneys to insurance agents. Since we were trying to relocate to the area, she was our "boots on the ground". Unfortunately, we closed on our home a few days before hurricane Irma. We were 1500 miles away and knew no one and needed hurricane shutters hung. Mary found someone for us AND waited at our home for 3 hours for the person to arrive. She goes above and beyond on all aspects of the home purchase and even after the purchase! We are forever grateful for all she has done for us and are so thankful that we found her.

Mary always goes above and beyond for her clients. We no longer lived in the home (or area, 3.5 hours away) and she was able to coordinate repairs to be done. She knows her stuff and will give it to you straight. We debated on replacing the oven, just due to some cosmetic issues and she didn't feel that leaving the stove would affect the sale. She was right and saved us $800. However there were other items she suggested we correct, which we didnt even consider, and she was absolutely correct. She knows the area like the back of her hand and knows what's going on in the market. She had a newsletter for the area that had been distributed in our neighborhood. Mary gets results. With many similar homes in the area, she got ours sold.

I liked Mary even before I knew her. For years she walked our community distributing her RE newsletter to residents in Waterways. It was full of information regarding the RE market trends, sales and forecasts. If Mary could market herself in such a manner I imagined she could sell my home quickly. After meeting Mary in person and signing the agreement she moved forward and had photos, videos and a plan ready to go to market in just a few days. If selling a home were easy we would do it ourselves, Mary took control and executed every step of the process as if it were her own home. I told her many times how grateful I was to have her to navigate the sale. She communicated often and informed and advised us on how to move forward. She was spot on and we sold our home in a short time at a fair market price. Not only did Mary become a trusted business partner; she became a friend.
